DoorDash Farm Delivery
Through a partnership with DoorDash, the FarmTab website enables customer orders within a farm's 15-mile radius to select DoorDash for same-day delivery. Farms have access to settings that let them control DoorDash deliveries on their own schedule.
Jersey Fresh Partnership
To ensure the produce sold on FarmTab is locally grown, we teamed up with the New Jersey State Department of Agriculture's marketing branch, Jersey Fresh, to verify producers. Farmers who are members of Jersey Fresh can highlight produce on FarmTab with the Jersey Fresh seal for customers to review while shopping.
How It Was Built
The website was developed using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and PHP within a WordPress environment. WooCommerce powers the product database and streamlines payment processing, with Stripe as the trusted payment gateway. Delivery orders are integrated through the DoorDash API, enabling customers to track their deliveries via a convenient tracking link.
